“This is the place !!!!”

Two contemporary cities, one with skyscrapers and the other with gorgeous mountains surrounding it - where would you go? You might say, "This is the place," like Brigham Young did as he picked the second choice. Different than most large western cities, Salt Lake City has a lot to boast about. In its setting of the Great Salt Lake and beautiful mountains, it is hard to believe that this city is even existing here. Many years ago things were much different, and it went through many transitions to become a place that is now many tourists' destination.

Like with most of the West, Native American tribes were the first inhabitants here. It was pretty common for these tribe to move on, never really settling. Not until about 1847 did the area actually have permanent residents. Even though they had to struggle, traveling many miles, the Mormons arrived with hope of settling in and being free to practice the teachings of their religion. It did not take long for these settlers to transform the area into a much larger arena. With all their building and agricultural endeavors, along with a temple to worship in and their own political system, they became quite a community. After only three years, they petitioned for Salt Lake City to be the capital of a new state called Utah.

However, the US government wasn't always this secular and denied the petition six times on the grounds of the widespread practice of polygamy being unconstitutional. It took a war and some anti-polygamy laws to get these settlers what they wanted .However, controversies aside, thenceforth, the US government and the Mormon settlers worked hard in coalition and were successfully able to form a well facilitated US tourist resort, an HVAC Salt Lake City.

Salt Lake City may be famous for its unusual lake and the inviting snow that beckons so many skiers, but it is also a pleasant home for its amicable residents. Besides colorful events that celebrate its Greek heritage and many interesting attractions, this city boasts superb education and safe neighborhoods.

Salt Lake City offers something for everyone. This city definitely stands out in the West as a unique place even though some have difficulty looking past the Mormon culture. Present day engineering books are evidence to the advanced methods used in the 19th century by the Mormons as they built their communities with their modern techniques. Fortunately, their reward was huge as they saw their little valley turn into a big, beautiful city.

With all that out of the way, the first real settlers and the government were able to collaborate in the establishment of a complete tourist facility, also know as an HVAC Salt Lake City.
