@beatlechik19
No we don’t there are too many mangroves on the earth, they are killing us all, lets get them before they get us! You never have to take quick action, thats just a ploy by eco activists, every environmental problem will be solved over the next 100 years with thechnology. Just sit back kick up you feet and then go for a ride in your hummer to do doughnuts in the walmart parking lot.

@AcowpieB That won’t work as well as you think, unfortunately. While it might be the answer in the short-term, just look at the issues that China is facing.

I speak, of course, of the aging population of China. Now that the population of those who had only one child is beginning to retire, China faces economic issues, as pensions are unable to keep up with the amount of retirees.

Japan, Sweden, and many other nations face this problem as well. One child is not the solution to this problem.

Since about 1980 approximately 35% of mangroves have been lost, while 20% of the world’s coral reefs have been destroyed… :(
We have to do something quick!!!

It makes sense and if anyone believes that this idea is of any irrelevance to their knowledge they are absolutely wrong. what use is it to bring new children into a world where the ones that are already here cannot live an efficient life because of overpopulation? THINK PEOPLEE THINK!!!

AcowpieB February 7, 2010 at 1:44 am

It’s so simple….1 child for each couple for the next 2 generations. We can cut the population to 1/4. The people against this are selfish indivuals that want to bring thier own child into an already over populated planet. Remember…an estimated 100 million child worldwide up for adoption.

Pictures of the polar ice cap growing back (NASA photos.) Pictures of Mars’ polar caps growing back. Planetary temp data. Solar flare data.

Read. Think. Then conclude with an open mind. If you conclude first, you’ll never learn anything new.

Peace
- fmr NASA research scientist, Top Secret JSC

ronpauljimrogers February 7, 2010 at 4:07 am

oh, it’s very true. your lack of knowledge does not obviate the truth – it substantiates your lack of knowledge. Research first, conclusions second.

I said absolutely nothing about running out of nonrenewable energy sources. I was talking about the fallacy in global “warming”. It was so obvious, after Earth and Mars started cooling off, that they changed the official name to global “change”. It’s 100% nonsense. Al Gore is selling you on a green tax.

even if that was to be true(which is not), petroleum will last for barely half a century more, coal for another 250, so we gotta change our source of energy, you like it or not, to something that can be sustained indifinitly… or else bye bye modern society

Lazo117 February 7, 2010 at 5:08 am

uhm….im not sure about the family thing, but i do know that 26% of the pop. uses about 80% of all resources and produces close to 86% of all the waste(which we send to poor developing countries)

Lazo117 February 7, 2010 at 5:32 am

its really sad of what is becoming of this planet, but how wouldnt it… just look how few people watch this kind of videos; barely 7 thousand views, while a video of some guy dancing had who knows how many millions

nzwarrior89 February 7, 2010 at 5:47 am

good way to put it..!!!

MarTin3Z420 February 7, 2010 at 5:54 am

yeah and cannabis is even better

OnePeopleOneChina February 7, 2010 at 6:10 am

Regarding bamboo: you can eat it, wear it, make utensils and furniture out of it, even construct houses with it!

It is a FAST growing grass!

OnePeopleOneChina February 7, 2010 at 6:11 am

Construction accounts for about 40% of entire world’s pollution. We need to transition from a petroleum based to a bamboo based (sustainable) economy!

This video has good ideas, but most important:
1) To burn it is better than sending it to a landfill.
2) To recycle it is better than burning it.
3) To reuse it is better than recycling it.
4) To reduce amount needed is better than reusing it.
5) To eliminate the need for material is better than reducing it.

ronpualjimrogers,

“Scientists abandoned the false GW hypothesis”

Excuse me? Show the the “journal” where it shows the study that debunks it. So far there has been over 900 studies that support AGW. Show me the one that doesn’t.
